Vanessa Cumberlander, age 58, passed away on December 13, 2022, at her home in Columbus, Ohio. Vanessa was born on March 10, 1964, to the late Kenneth Williamson and Marie Cumberlander.
Vanessa is preceded in death by son, Lamont Cumberlander; brother, Kenneth Cumberlander; and sister, Robin Brown.
She is survived by her children, Anthony Cumberlander; Terry Cumberlander, Sherrie Cumberlander, Monica Brown, Latasha Brown and Monique Brown; sisters, Rebecca (Chuck) Nebbergall, Regina (Robert) Golden, Cindy Elliott, and Patty Jennings, brothers, Charlie (Mandy) Jennings, Edward (Shawn) Cumberlander, and Timmy (Caroline) Jennings; best friend, Niya Leigh; special family, Ruth Phipps, Sherri Phipps, Valerie Phipps, Robert Phipps; and a host of other special family and friends. Special thanks to favorite cousins, Michelle Cumberlander and Johnny Two; favorite nephew, Charles Nebbergall III; and aunt, Esther Lee.
Vanessa was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed dancing, singing, and listening to music. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 12pm at Union Tabernacle Church of God, 1345 Atcheson Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43203 where friends and family may call one hour prior. Apostle Harold Bailey officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Day Funeral Service is honored to serve the family of Vanessa Cumberlander.
