Thelma Louise Hulet, born July 15, 1930, in Columbus, Ohio to William Bybee and Blanche (Ellis) Bybee, passed away September 26, 2023. Thelma worked at Western Electric until she decided to follow her passion for art and opened her own ceramic shop where she taught other people painting classes and thrived to help others bring out their creative artist in each person that took any of her painting classes. Thelma belonged to the Society of Decorative Painters, International Porcelain Artists, and the Heart of Ohio Tole Society. Thelma is preceded in death by her husband, William Hulet; daughters, Virginia Hulet and Margaret Rose; brothers, Irvine Bybee, Charles Bybee, William Bybee and sisters, Blanche Morin, Edna Uncypher, and Dorthey Sands. Survived by daughter, Brenda Hulet-Bailey; sons, Thomas Hulet and William Hulet; grandchildren, Heidi Wetherill and Russell Garner; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Kay Hulet Darst, Mariah Fleck, Damien Darst; and great great grandchild, Kiramyah Sparkman. The family will have a private graveside service Tuesday October 3, 2023.
