Temyus Bryant, 41 went home to be with the Lord on February 18, 2024 after a protracted battle against illness and end-stage renal disease. Temyus leaves to mourn his two children; Christianna "Chris" Bryant and Kayleigh Bryant; his mother Mary Bryant; brother Semaj (Lindsey) Bryant; and sister Yuneqca Bryant; along with his nieces Zwivahti-Olinge, Brianna, Sabrea, Jayde, Marysol & Jayla; his nephews Jaydence and Marchael; and a host of uncles, aunts & extended family. He is proceeded in death by his father, James Newsom.
The Bryant Family would like to thank all family and friends that took time to encourage and visit Temyus throughout his illness, as well as the doctors and nurses that provided compassionate care during his final days spent in ICU at St. Ann's hospital. We are grateful that our loved one was able to depart this life enveloped in the love of family and friends.
Temyus lived an intentional life, often saying that "a good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children"; as was his goal. Temyus was the owner, founder and CEO of Bryant Family Books based in Columbus, Ohio and he also worked in the healthcare industry for over 12 years. Temyus held a degree in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science (Sports Management) from Columbus State Community College. He was also a student at Ohio University in Athens where he was pursuing a degree in Technical & Applied Studies until hampered by his illness. Temyus also initiated Reliant Ministries and performed Christian rap music at various venues throughout the midwestern United States.
Known for his quick humor, sharp wit & persistence, Temyus will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him in this life.
