Steven Earl Fry

Steven Earl Fry, age 63, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at OSU Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on January 10, 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Earl Eugene and Patty (Sells) Fry. Steve was a 1978 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and a longtime resident of Mount Vernon.
This former Marine dearly loved his family, friend, pets, and plants. He especially enjoyed music and dancing, family gatherings, and any type of road trip. His huge heart and large soul will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his brothers Stan Fry, Mike (Wendy) Fry, and Bill (Debi) Fry all of Mount Vernon; his sisters Peggy (Jeremy) Wise of Frazeysburg and Nancy (Sam) Tripi of Buffalo; his nieces and nephews Jackson, Emily, Nathan (Malary), Randilynn (Zac), Katelynn (AJ), Jared (Clairanne), Ryan, Haylee, Samantha; and great-nieces and nephews Leona, Tucker, Raelynn, Thatcher, Nick, Chloe, Ebreylynn, Brennen, Lily, Nora, Mara, and Jada. He is also survived by beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as numerous extended families. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Patty Fry; his grandparents; and uncles Larry Sells and Dale Fry.
Family and friends will gather on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 1 to 4 p.m. at 303 North Main Street, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050 where a Celebration of Life will be held with a 21-gun salute at 3:30 p.m
