Robert A. Voigt Profile Photo
Robert Alan Voigt, known lovingly as Bob, was 67 years young when he passed on Monday, January 15, 2024 at his home in Centerburg, OH. After his diagnosis of Stage IV metastatic pancreatic cancer, he fought valiantly for time to continue sharing his love as a husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend.

He is survived by his loving wife, Diana; his children Katy (Kevin) Myers, Bobby (Emily) Voigt, and Nathan Voigt; his grandchildren Will and Chris Voigt; his mothers Claire Voigt and Nancy Wolfe; his siblings William Voigt, Dee (Hector) Iurcovich, Kathy (Mike) Rommes, Steve (Vickie) Edmister, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father William Voigt, grandparents Leon and Hazel Voigt and Denny and Francis Garbaczewski.

For 37 years, Bob shared a profound love and partnership with his wife, Diana, creating a bond that endured the rewards and challenges of owning a small business, raising three children, becoming stewards of untouched wilderness, and fighting cancer. Their successes and their legacy were celebrated hand-in-hand by each other’s side.

Bob was a visionary in every sense of the word. Bob and Diana founded Resolution Technology, Inc. in 1987. RTI specialized in customized vision systems, where Bob often wore the hats of engineer, sales, project manager, and programmer. Contrary to the fast-paced tech world, Bob found solace in nature. He and Diana achieved their greatest dream when they became stewards of 18 acres of enchanting forest and a meandering stream; a sanctuary he cherished deeply.

His wisdom, laughter, and unwavering support have left an everlasting impact on his children and grandchildren. He instilled values of faith, integrity, perseverance, and kindness. By example, he taught to never shy away from a challenge; that the hard way was often the nobler way.

As we walk the trails along the stream he so proudly protects, we remember a man of exceptional fortitude; the warmth of his smile and the twinkle in his eyes; the enduring love he had for his family. His memory will continue to inspire us, as we hold onto the lessons he imparted and the beauty he preserved.
