Nancy L. Cooper
April 8, 1943 — January 28, 2023
Nancy L Cooper passed away on January 28th, 2023 at the age of 79.
Nancy is survived by a loving family, including her sister, Linda (Bob) Lee; daughters Alice (Dave) Myers and Karen (Bryan) Boso; stepdaughters Julie (Tom) Neff, Tina (Doug) Costello, and Rose (Rick) Potter; grandchildren James (Jessica) Blair, Sarah (Michael) Russell, and Adam (Heather) Estep; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, as well as many caring friends.
Nancy was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late John and Kathleen Bower. One of her favorite memories was fishing with her father John, a Columbus Firefighter, who was taken from her too soon. Nancy attended Columbus North High School where she enjoyed playing in the band with her sister. She had a long career bookkeeping and accounting for several companies, as well as her own at one time. Nancy was an avid cat lover and after each passing of one, she couldn’t help but adopt another. She also loved and supported her Buckeyes – Go Bucks!
At Nancy’s request there will be no memorial service. Nancy will be interred at Union Cemetery where her parents are laid to rest. The family asks that in lieu of cards or flowers a donation can be made to Columbus Humane @columbushumane.org.
