Martin L. Folk, 82, of Lancaster, OH passed away April 10, 2023, after a short illness. Martin was born to Howard and Helen Folk on Jan. 20, 1941, in Junction City. He was married to Lois Folk. Martin was a U.S. Army Veteran. After his Army service, he owned and operated Folk’s Sohio service station on Main St. in Lancaster. Later, he worked and retired from Premix. Martin enjoyed camping with his wife and in-laws, working on automobiles and spending time with his family. Martin is survived by Lois; brothers, Roger (Marilyn) Folk of Durango, CO, Gene Folk of Pickerington, OH, Rolly (Becky) Folk of Junction City, OH; step-children, Andrew Balser of Brandon, FL, Bryan (Bertha) Balser of Edgewood, KY, Chad (Mindi) Balser, of Carroll, OH, Denise (Greg) Roudabush of Lancaster, OH; sisters-in-law, Phyllis (Larry) Shonk of Columbus, OH, Beverly (Jerry) Messbarger of Lancaster, OH, Barbra (Mike) Fleming of Beaver, PA; brother-in-law, Ronald (Lynne) Logsdon of Lancaster, OH, Grace (Mike) Gavin of Lancaster, OH and Peggy (Gerry) Billinghurst of Ashland, OH; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Eileen Poling and brother-in-law, Don Poling; and 3 nephews.
