Karl Fritz Raidel
August 13, 1966 — February 14, 2023
Karl Fritz Raidel, passed away on February 14, 2023, after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). He was born August 13, 1966, and was a long-time resident of Westerville, Ohio. Fritz married his loving wife, Amy, at the age of 29. They were married for 26 years, during which they had two children, Martin and Jessica, to complete their little family.
Karl worked as a brick mason for several years before changing direction and going into garage door installation. He was a hard worker, working until his MS forced him to retire, but that didn’t stop his sense of adventure. Fritz was a bold man who loved his family, dirt bike riding, deer hunting, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and camping in the forest.
Fritz is preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Lavon Raidel. He is survived by his wife and two children; brothers, Hans (Deb) Raidel and Heinz (Anna) Raidel; and sister, Erika (Bryan) Fuller. Fritz will be deeply missed.
Services will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Discovery Church, 750 Cross Pointe Road, Suite L, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. Calling hours will be held from 1:00-2:00pm with service to follow at 2:00pm. There will be a gathering following the service at Average Joe’s Pub & Grill, 4949 East Dublin Granville Road, Westerville Ohio 43081.
