Joseph Edmund Gemperline

Joseph Edmund Gemperline, age 64, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 30, 2022 at the SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. Joseph was born November 18, 1957 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late James and Patricia (Shonebarger) Gemperline. He is survived by siblings, Mary (Edward) White, Patrick (Sarah), and Joan; eight nieces and nephews; three great nieces and nephews; and many cousins and close friends. Viewing to be held Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 9:00am-10:15am at St. Mark Catholic Church, 324 Gay Street, Lancaster, Ohio 43130 with a Funeral Mass to begin at 10:30am. Burial to follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, 1500 South Broad Street, Lancaster, Ohio 43130. In lieu of flowers, please donate to local Meals on Wheels and Habitat for Humanity.
