Diane Gowin

Dianne Gowin passed away peacefully in her sleep September 4, 2023 at her son’s home. Dianne was 76.
A loving mother, teacher, businesswoman, and constant scientist, Dianne always had the resilience to do what was needed to support her family and those around her.
She loved cats but was terribly allergic. Loved golf but hated golfers. An excellent cook but never the time. Always looked for time to kick back, but it just wouldn’t rain, and the sun would never go down.
Dianne is preceded in death by her mother and father, Gene and Jane Duncan. Survived by her husband, Rubin Ray Gowin, and her sons, Steve and Paul (or was that Paul and Steve…)
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arbor Day Foundation or the League of Women Voters.
