Devin Jay Erbe, age 35, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away suddenly on , November 13th at home.
Devin was born on September 12, 1987, and graduated from Briggs High School. Devin was an avid Ohio Buckeyes fan. He loved to fish and enjoyed being "at the lake."
Devin loved animals and loved to sing. He also enjoyed making people laugh and loved to pull off pranks.
Devin is survived by his parents, Rickey Erbe (Sheila Mayes), Tanya Erbe Griffin (Jack Griffin), and sister Courtney Erbe (Brian Bishop). He is also survived by paternal grandparents, Ron and Wilma Ranney, and great-grandparents, Gary and Ruth DeVoe. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Devin was a very kind and loving person and loved animals. The family is asking that a donation be made to the Humane Society in Devin's name in lieu of flowers.
A time of remembrance for friends and family will take place on Saturday, November 19th at Crossroads United Methodist Church (1100 S. Hague Ave.). The reception will start at 2:30 p.m., with the gathering beginning at 3p.m.
