David Alan Pauley

David (Dave) Alan Pauley, born April 4, 1952, passed away unexpectedly at his home this past December. Dave was a man of few words, but with the kindest heart for anyone he came into contact with. He could most definitely give the best hugs. Dave spent most of his life playing and enjoying rock and roll with a voice that will surely be missed. He was a talented finish carpenter leaving his pieces of work behind for many to cherish.

Dave was preceded in death by his father, Fleat, and brother, Richard Pauley. Dave is survived by his mother, Joyce Pauley; children Amoreena (Eric Young), Matthew (Shannon), Benjamin (Tiffany), and Michael (Kelly) Pauley; siblings Lanny (Susette) Pauley, Debra (Lonnie) Hobbs, Deanna (Rob) Farrington, and Rhoda (Ray) Langel; grandchildren Tyler, Brandon, Corey, and Riley Clarkson, Tessa, Olivia, Noah, Sofie, Cameron, and baby Pauley; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A celebration of Dave’s life will be on January 15, 2023, from 2-4:30pm at The Dolphin Lounge in Gahanna, where he spent some time doing what he enjoyed, drumming and singing to rock and roll music.
