Catherine Lynn Masters

Catherine Lynn (Gill) Masters, 57, of Pataskala, Ohio, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 12, 2023, with her loving husband by her side.
Catherine was born on August 19, 1965, in Princeton, West Virginia, later finding her home in Pataskala, Ohio, where she was a devoted Christian, wife, and mother. Catherine was a member of First Baptist Church of Gahanna. She had a strong love for her family that extended to her Church family and community. She was known for her love of music and her kind and loving heart. Catherine devoted many hours to her Church family. She epitomized service to others. No task was too big or too small for Catherine. When the Church needed someone to count pennies in a room, Catherine was there. When the Church needed someone to create and run a slideshow for Vacation Bible School or every Sunday service, Catherine was there. When the Church needed someone to be the Representative for its American Heritage Girls’ Troop, Catherine was there. When the Church needed someone to check-in and check-out children for its AWANA program, Catherine was there. When the Church needed help with any number of things in her many years as a member, Catherine was there. Catherine set an example of service for others because of the love of Jesus which shone bright in her.
Catherine was the daughter of the late Loren Charlton Gill and the late Della Jean Albert Gill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Loren Keith Gill.
Left to cherish her loving memory are her husband, Tim Masters, and her son Stephen Masters. She is also survived by her sister, Lora Ann Gill Kimball (Joe) and many loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 11am at First Baptist Church of Gahanna, 520 Havens Corners Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. A luncheon will be held at the church following the service.
