Audrey Genevieve Ramey Justice went home peacefully to her Lord and Savior on March 19, 2023.
Audrey was the last living child of the late Charlie and Mintie Ramey.
Audrey was preceded in death by her late husband, Julius Justice; truly devoted and loving daughter, Brenda Darlene Wycuff; precious great-grandson, Joshua Wycuff; sisters, Christine Hawks and Katherine Hatfield; brothers, Grover, Lee, Noah and Junior Ramey.
In 1953 Audrey and Julius left the coal mines and West Virginia behind and moved to Columbus, Ohio with Gail, Geri and Brenda to Cabin Town, to start their new life. They worked their way up-Audrey going to school to become a beautician and owning her own beauty shop for many years and Julius became a carpenter, eventually owning his own construction company.
They loved to travel, they went on cruises to Florida and Niagara Falls. They spent many weekends at Hoover Dam on Julius's boat.
When Julius passed in 1979 at the young age of 54, Audrey found herself once more starting over and she did! Audrey started at Grange Insurance Company and worked there until she retired.
Audrey was amazing-she dealt with whatever life handed her. Audrey was a fighter, survivor, strong, smart, intelligent, stubborn, resilient, and oh so proud!
Audrey will be greatly missed by daughters, Gail (Larry) Border and Geri Zimmer; grandchildren, Rhonda (Marc) Romano, Scott (Linda) Border, Lisa Border, Travis Border, Chad Ruff, Jason Ruff, Kevin (Kathy) Wycuff, Chris Wycuff, Jeremy Wycuff; great-grandchildren, Gage, Christian, Dylan, Tessa, Landon, Morgan (Dustin), Jordy (Amanda), Kristin (Quentin), Christopher, Meadow, Grant (Shelby), Nylah (Corey), Brooke (Andrew), Blake, Alexis, Madison, Thorn and Tate; great-great-grandchildren, EmersynRae, Jordyn, Kadyn, Camden, Joshua, Jacob, Harper, Carter, Myra and Ava Mae.
